
Matt Dando established MD-SAFETY in 2005 with over 20 years specialist experience in emergency, disaster and safety management and is well known as a high level subject expert in both the theoretical and practical aspects of these areas. Since its inception MD-SAFETY has been warmly received by both public and private organisations who are striving for safer and more efficient workplaces.
Matt’s prior work experience includes the Australian Plague Locust Commission, CSIRO Bush Fire Research Unit as well as the Victorian Country Fire Authority and the NSW Rural Fire Service. Matt has a Diploma of Agricultural Science, Advanced Diploma of Emergency Management, Diploma of Fire-fighting Management, Diploma of OHS and a Diploma in Training and Assessment. He is also a registered WorkCover NSW trainer.
Matt has been recognised as a job subject expert in emergency operational and fire aviation management.
Mike has extensive experience in environmental and chemical management. His qualifications include Ba. App Sci. Environmental Science, Cert IV TAE, Cert IV Project Management in additional to considerable experience in managing resource and training programs in private and government organisations. He was previously NSW DPI National Program Coordinator for the Chemical Accreditation program "SMARTtrain". Mike now operates a business with his son, Simon, operating Remotely Operated Vehicles undertaking inspection and maintenance services in fresh and marine waters in addition to his other environmental and training management activities.
Natalie specialises in agricultural safety having vast experience in agriculture and adult education. Natalie currently works as an agricultural trainer in chemical safety, animal husbandry and numerous farming subjects.
Her qualifications include a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE), Certificate IV in Workplace Safety, formal qualifications in Chemical Risk Management and Agriculture. Natalie is particularly passionate in her desire to assist the role of women in agriculture and is involved in a number of stakeholder groups.
Chris specializes in curriculum and program development, particularly in the emergency management arena; he also has extensive experience in systems compliance and audit. Chris has considerable expertise in competency ba sed assessment and training package development and implementation. His qualifications include an MBA, Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) as well as numerous other qualifications in business and emergency management. Chris is currently manager of Australian College of Community Safety (ACCS)
